On 20 August 2026, Doinita Bordeianu launched Verta, a curated business networking initiative in Vienna (Austria) for founders, freelancers and aspiring entrepreneurs building something of their own.
The idea grew out of her own path. Doinita discovered that the right room, and the right people in it, could change what she believed was possible for herself. Event design, organisation and hosting were things she had always enjoyed but it took experience, and stepping outside her comfort zone for her to see that they were not just interests. They were the foundation of a business.
Doinita has been open about what made that shift possible. On LinkedIn, she wrote: “Nothing beats a mentor with whom I can be 100% honest. For years I didn’t ask for help at all. Sometimes I even thought I had all the answers. Working harder didn’t help. What did was asking, and letting someone see the messy version.” On Instagram she wrote: "Find the right people, the ones who have something you want. Mentorship can quadruple your growth — it did for me."

Doinita is now the one creating space for others. She is building one, for founders across Vienna, through Verta. This is only the beginning.
There is a particular joy in seeing the seeds of guidance take root and flourish. Any mentor watching their mentee turn their own journey into a space for others is something they feel deeply proud to witness.
